MidWest Wabbitat Home
This cage is a MidWest Wabbitat Home with an add-on hutch extension. The enclosure has coroplast in the back and 10" plexiglass on the other open sides to keep the heat in and prevent climbing injuries. The base came red but was painted with a pet-safe black paint. The enclosure has two heat setups for the heating components because the cage is over four square feet. Each heat setup includes a lamp stand, an 8.5" dome, a 150-watt Ceramic Heat Emitter, a daul InkBird thermostat, and a digital thermometer. The bedding is a fleece liner. The cage has a dig box and a 4" PVC pipe for cage clutter. The wheel in this enclosure is too small for a permanent wheel but looks impressive for the cage setup. Carolina Storm Bucket Wheel would work best for a hedgehog's size.
Full Cheeks Easy-Clean Cottage
The Full Cheek Easy-Clean Cottage makes for a spacious hedgie home. This enclosure is lined with 10" plexiglass on all four sides to keep the heat in and to prevent a possible climbing injury. This enclosure has two heat setups for the heating components; each includes a lamp stand, an 8.5" dome, a 150-watt Ceramic Heat Emitter, an InkBird thermostat, and a digital thermometer. The wheel is a Full Cheeks 12" Starter Wheel. A fleece liner is used for the bedding. The cage includes a dig box of 1"pompoms, a fleece forest, three hides, and toys for enrichment and cage clutter.
Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat
This spacious cage is a MidWest Guinea Pig Habitat PLUS. This type of enclosure should be lined with 10" plexiglass or coroplast on all four sides to keep the heat in and climbing. This cage requires two heat setups! Each includes a lamp stand, an 8.5" dome, a 150-watt Ceramic Heat Emitter, an InkBird thermostat, and a digital thermometer. The wheel is a Carolina Storm Bucket Wheel. The bedding is a custom fleece liner made for this specific cage. The cage includes three hides, a tunnel, a cuddle cube, a cuddle sack, and toys for enrichment.
