PRIORITY WAITING LIST

The priority waiting list is for serious buyers who would like the first choice of our future. Members usually adopt the most requested colors before the babies make it to the website. The purchase price will vary depending on the baby you choose.

Waiting List Policy
  • To maintain the integrity of our breeding program, we have the first selection.

  • As a Priority Waiting List Member, you will receive the first pick of the babies before the general public.

  • There is a $100 non-refundable deposit to join the Priority Waiting List. This deposit is deducted from the purchase price of the baby hedgehog of your choice. You may place your deposit after the application is approved.

  • Each member is given 24 hours to pick a baby. Please remember that there are other members anxiously waiting for their turn. If we do not hear from you in that time frame, we will skip you and continue to the next person until we hear back from you. When selecting a hedgehog, you may adopt from the babies available or pass another litter. If you decide to pass, your spot is reserved, and you will move up on the waiting list. We have babies year-round!

  • You have a year from the date you joined the waiting list to adopt a baby hedgehog. After 12 months, you will not receive a refund if you have not chosen a baby,  no longer want to wait for one of our hedgehogs, or purchase elsewhere.

  • Please pay close attention to the "ready by" dates.  Once your baby is ready, you have seven days to pick up your hedgehog.

  • Babies go home between 8-12 weeks of age, as long as they are 180 grams and eating and drinking independently.

Timeline

Please be aware that the waiting process can take a few months if you want a specific color, but that doesn't mean we will have that color available. We will ALWAYS have first picks of all the litters and then the waiting list members in the order of deposits received. The rare and unique colorations are priced higher than the standard colors.  We cannot predict what colors to expect except and have no control over Mother Nature! The average litter size tends to be 3 to 4 babies.

It will take approximately six months if you want to wait on a specific pairing. Unfortunately, if the pairing is unsuccessful or the litter doesn't survive, it will extend your wait times by several months. Sometimes, the mom will be retired, and that specific pairing is no longer an option.

While you wait, please begin getting the required supplies, or let me know if you intend to order a kit. You can only take your baby hedgehog home if you have everything that is required!

We will contact you by text or phone when your baby is almost ready to go home. Once your supplies are proven, we will send our home address for local pickup and let you know what you need to bring. You have seven days from the day we contact you to pick up your baby, so please have all your supplies ready before six weeks of age.

Your deposit rolls over for one year therefore you will remain on the list until you find the baby you want. The babies below are approximately two weeks old, our babies do not leave us until 8 weeks, please make sure you review the individual baby's information by clicking the photo of the baby you would like to reserve. Once you have reserved your baby, the baby will removed from this page and moved to our reserved page.
